Week 10 Weigh-In

Last Thursday was Anderson's 2-month check-in (actually it was 10 weeks from birth). All systems are go, and he received a series of vaccinations. At the same time we also got his current weight and length measurements:

• Weight: 11 lbs 12 oz (5.33kg); 50th percentile
• Length: 24.5 inches (62 cm); 90th percentile

So, still long and skinny. Below are trends of weight and length measurements since birth.  What does that mean?  Steady development in size and increasing Body Mass Index (weight is increasing faster than length proportionally).  As I was writing the reference to the BMI I thought the reference not to be very serious, but lo and behold, there IS a baby BMI apparently because of the increasing number of overweight babies.  Fortunately Anderson's in good shape.
