No, Anderson isn't walking without hand or furniture assistance just yet, but he took a couple of major steps in growing up over the past few weeks nonetheless.First up: Pacifier gone. We had decided to take it away from him a couple of weeks ago on a Friday, so that he'd have some time to adjust before returning to school on Monday. He looked for it once in a while, but never made a big fuss about it. Impressive, because he had it on him pretty much all the time, day and night, since shortly after birth.
Second: Night feeding gone. This one has been a bit tougher. Anderson always gets a bottle of milk before sleeping, and he woke up between 3 and 5 am for a refill. We thought that he could easily make it until the morning without the refill. The first night he got pretty upset when we didn't supply the goods, but we didn't cave. After that it has been smooth sailing. Sleeping from 8:30pm until after 6am. Yeah. Fingers crossed.
