Turbulence

It's been a tough past several weeks for Anderson, and we're hoping things start to lighten up soon (and stay that way for a while).  After being in pretty good health for quite some time he picked up Croup.  Indeed Anderson sounded like barking when he coughed.  Most problematic with the sickness was that his throat seemed to tighten up so much that he almost couldn't breathe anymore.

Once Croup passed, he had about a couple of weeks until he came down with symptoms resembling the Coxsackievirus.  Problem here was that he had a fever going for five days straight with a high measured 104.9˚F (40.5˚C).  Needless to say we were pretty worried after even acetaminophen and ibuprofen improved the fever only slightly.  Sleeping was a pain with a 100% congested nose. Milk and water were pretty much the only things he was able to tolerate over the course of the illness, so he also lost quite a bit of weight.

Ten days after that sickness, yesterday, another brief fever before going to sleep, accompanied by heavy screaming which he only shows when he's in pain.  Fortunately, unlike with the two previous incidents, this one passed just overnight with a good night's sleep.  We're guessing it's the two upper canines that are coming to light simultaneously that caused him some discomfort.
