Baby State

A tough month for Anderson has just gone by.  It was marked by a sinus infection, and a separate, follow-on cold/fever.  Fortunately everything is back to normal now, but it's tough to see the little guy struggle with green goo clogging his eyes, and fever up to 103 degrees.  We (parents) seemed to have caught something similar to what Anderson had as well, and we're currently on the way to betterment.

On the brighter side, there were some less serious struggles as well, including a first trip to Great America.  It was a beautiful day and Anderson was on his first rides, two different kinds of merry-go-rounds.  Not much fun for Anderson yet as we found out.  He let the first one go over with pretty well, but then heavily complained during the second one.  Next time we'll go we probably won't be able to get him off the rides.

Meanwhile Anderson also walks solidly with only intermittent crawling when he needs to get somewhere really fast.  He proudly marches around indoors, and when he's outside we now have to pay pretty close attention as he takes off as soon as he sees something interesting.  Maybe time for a leash?  :-)

Lastly, we have learned how to effectively eat pizza, Anderson style:
  1. Get a slice.
  2. Separate cheese and toppings from the crust.
  3. Eat the cheese and toppings.
  4. If you're not full yet, start working on the crust.  Otherwise take a nap.
Anyhow.  Now that you've read through all that, you've earned yourself some pictures.  Enjoy.
