Growing, growing, growing. We've just uploaded some recent
pictures of Anderson. Do you still recognize him from a couple of months ago? Probably, but we're always amazed by how fast little guys at that age develop, grow, and learn. Walking: got it. Running: almost. Eating big people food: yes (not everything, and we have to chop most of it down quite a bit). Current development area: communicating verbally. We're not that shocked anymore every time he understands something complex that we tell him. But he now even says a bunch of words reliably (the fact that daddy, ducky, doggy all are pronounced "daddy" is just an insignificant detail; mama also means "food"). Other words? Milk, train, Pooh (as in Winnie the Pooh) and onomatopoeia. He probably got the last one from school, as we don't talk like that at home.
Terrible 2 ramp-up is around the corner, and we're getting ready catching up on reading a couple of toddler books, looking to make it a wonderful 2+.
